Product name: Aluminum sulfate octadecahydrate

Molecular Formula: AI₂(SO₄)₃ ·18H₂O

Molecular weight: 666.43

Properties: White, shiny crystalline particles or a colorless, transparent liquid. It loses some of its crystal water at 86.5°C, forming a white powder. It decomposes into aluminum oxide at around 600°C. It is readily soluble in water and almost insoluble in ethanol. The solution is acidic.

This product is mainly used as an analytical reagent, a raw material for lithium batteries, electronic chemicals, and electroplating materials. It can also be used as a mordant, stabilizer, etc.
