Appearance: lts specific gravity is 1.69. lt can easily absorb moistureand agglomerate. lts dehydration temperature is 86.5°C. lt issoluble in water, acid and alkali, insoluble in alcohol and itsaqueous solution is acidic with characteristic flavor of both acid andastringent, Heated to 530℃, it begins to resolve and stop at 860'Cthe final decomposition product is r-AL2O3.
Application Fields
This product is mainly used for drinking water treatment, the manufacture of high-grade paper, the post - treatment of titanium dioxide, and as a catalyst carrier. It can also be used as a foam fire extinguisher, a flame retardant for thermal insulation materials, an additive for refractory materials, and a raw material for artificial gemstones, etc.
