1.PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Molecular Formula: AL,(SO,),-xH,O.
Molecular Weigh: 342.1 S(Al;(SO,)
Appearance: Solid is light yellow or light green flake or powder, liquid is light yellow or light green transparent liquid.
Property: Its specific gravity is 1.69. It can easily absorb moisture and agglomerate. Its dehydration temperature is 86.5°C. It is soluble in water, acid and alkali, insoluble in alcohol and its aqueous solution is acidic with characteristic flavor of both acid and astringent. Heated to 530°C, it begins to resolve and stop at 860°C, the final decomposition product is r-Al,O,.

3.APPLICATION
It is mainly used in paper sizing agent, as flocculant in water treatment of industrial and waste water. Also as material of artificial gem and other aluminium salt such as ammonium alum, potash alum and refined aluminium sulphate. Ferric aluminium sulphate is widely used in clarificant, deodorant and decolorant of oil, concrete waterproof agent, processing of titanium dioxide, and catalyst carrier.
