Molecular Formula: KAl(SO4)2·12H2O
Other name: Potassium aluminium sulphate, potassium alum, potash alum
Property: Colorless transparent lump, granular or crystalline powder, non-toxic, odorless, slightly sweet and astringent taste with convergence. It is soluble in water and its aqueous solution is acidic.

Mainly used in purification of water, paper sizing, printing and dyeing of paint, medicine production, leather making, fiber board processing, hardening fixer for film, rubber, metallurgy, colored glass. Also can be used in seed sterilizing, animal cure, seedling of root, potassium fertilizing in alkali soil, food additives and so on industries.
